This is a client facing role where you will be required to interview both new and existing clients, establish their needs and recommend solutions.

You will need  experience in a public practice, in a client facing role; have expertise in the preparation of tax returns and financial statements , be well progressed towards CPA/CA with a strong commitment to professional development.

You will be required to produce business plans, cashflow statements , tax planning strategies,  section 52 sale of business , and make recommendations about the purchase and sale of businesses.

Experience in setting up companies and trusts essential.

You should be familiar with Xero Accounting, Xero Tax and Practice Management, and Microsoft Office 365. Knowledge of CCH Ifirm and BGL would be an advantage.

You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high command of the English language, and have the ability to quickly develop rapport with clients and stakeholders.

You must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Note that the director is aiming to become less hands on in the near future and the opportunity to progress to a management role can be yours. Equity involvement is a definite possibility.
